The installation table must be flat and firm, and cannot tilt or shake. After placing the reducer in the installation position, tighten the anchor bolts evenly to avoid unilateral tightening and uneven stress. Otherwise, severe vibration will occur when the equipment is running, which will accelerate the wear of gears and bearings. It is recommended to install a shock-absorbing pad at the bottom of the fuselage to reduce vibration during operation and protect transmission components.
The second step is to connect the transmission components and accurately connect the couplings of the motor, grinding roller and reducer to ensure consistent coaxiality and eliminate offset and misalignment. If the coupling is eccentric, radial force will be generated during operation, which will not only cause abnormal noise and vibration, but also increase shaft wear and even shaft breakage. After the docking is completed, tighten the fixing screws evenly to fix the position.
The third step is to add lubricating oil. Do not turn on the machine directly after installation. Add special lubricating oil with the corresponding number according to the reducer model. The oil level should be kept at the middle position of the oil window scale. If the oil level is too high, it will easily leak. If the oil level is too low, it will lead to insufficient lubrication and dry wear of components. At the same time, check whether the ventilation plug is unobstructed to avoid oil leakage caused by excessive box pressure in the later stage.
Finally, conduct a no-load test run. Start the machine and idle for 3-5 minutes. Observe whether the equipment has abnormal noise, vibration, oil leakage or other abnormalities. After confirming that the operation is stable, load the grinding operation again. Standardized installation may seem cumbersome, but it can reduce 80% of later failures from their root causes and significantly reduce maintenance costs.
