2. The second is torque, which determines the cutting power of the reducer. The greater the torque, the stronger the cutting resistance and the higher the load capacity of the equipment. When processing thick materials, hard materials, and large coiled materials, a high-torque reducer must be selected, otherwise there will be inability to cut and stalling. For light materials, regular torque can be selected to avoid excess power and waste of energy.
3. The last step is to match the power. The reducer power must match the motor power. If the power is too small, the reducer will be overloaded and burned out frequently; if the power is too large, resources will be wasted. Conventional slitting machines can be matched 1:1 according to the motor power. It is recommended to reserve about 1.2 times the power margin under heavy load conditions to improve equipment stability.
