Regarding the oil leakage problem of the ZQD350-163.31-II soft tooth surface reducer, in fact, it can be effectively prevented by starting from the four key links of sealing, lubrication, assembly and daily operation. Specifically, you can do this:
First of all, the line of defense of "sealing" must be good. For the shaft end seal, it is recommended to use oil-resistant and wear-resistant fluorine rubber (FKM) double-lip oil seal, which is better able to adapt to temperature changes and has a longer life than ordinary nitrile rubber. If there is a lot of dust on site, a labyrinth seal can be added to the outside to block impurities. For the joint surface of the box, it must be cleaned before assembly, and anaerobic sealant (such as Loctite 587) should be applied evenly, paying attention to apply it in diagonal order to prevent faults. In addition, the oil sight glass and breathing valve are also places prone to oil leakage. Regularly check whether the sealing ring of the oil sight glass is hardened, and replace the breathing valve with a style with a two-stage filter. Clean the filter every six months to prevent excessive internal pressure from squeezing out oil.
Secondly, lubrication management must be standardized. The amount of refueling must be strictly controlled and kept between 1/2 and 2/3 of the oil level. If you add too much, it will easily cause splashing and leakage during operation. The oil must also be selected correctly. Under high-temperature working conditions, PAO synthetic gear oil can be used. At the same time, pay attention to the water content of the oil not exceeding 0.1%. During routine maintenance, the viscosity and impurities of the lubricating oil should be tested every quarter. If the viscosity fluctuates by more than 15%, the oil should be changed. You can also add a magnetic oil filter to the oil tank to absorb iron filings and impurities. This can reduce the wear of seals and gears caused by impurities and indirectly reduce the risk of oil leakage.
Third, assembly and installation accuracy must meet standards. When assembling core components, a dial indicator should be used to detect the radial runout of the journal, and the deviation should not exceed 0.05mm. If the journal is slightly worn, it can be repaired with low-temperature chrome plating. There is a tip for installing the oil seal: freeze the oil seal for 2 hours in advance, and then press it in vertically with a special clamp. This can ensure concentricity and avoid eccentric wear. When tightening the box bolts, be sure to use a torque wrench in diagonal order to ensure uniform force. When installing the reducer, make sure it is aligned with the transmission center axis of the working machine and fixed on a stable foundation to reduce the impact of operating vibration on the seal.
Finally, there is the daily operation and maintenance to keep up with. Try to avoid overload operation, because overloading will cause the oil temperature to soar and accelerate the aging of the seals. It is recommended to install an oil temperature alarm device to provide an early warning when it exceeds 75°C to reduce frequent starts and stops. During daily inspections, you can use an infrared thermal imaging camera to measure the temperature of the sealing parts every month. If the temperature difference exceeds 15°C, be alert. Check and tighten the end caps and anchor bolts every 3 months. If used in a dusty environment such as a mine, remember to install a dust cover and clean the dust on the surface of the shaft seal and box every week to prevent particles from wearing away the sealing surface.
