The maintenance personnel of the Babman planetary reducer found the following three problems during the dismantling and inspection of the planetary gear:
(1) The thrust pads on both sides are severely ablated and melted;
(2) There is a large amount of sludge at the copper sleeve, which causes the lubricating oil channel to be blocked, the copper sleeve is cracked as a whole, and the axial extension is nearly 30mm; (3) The pin shaft is partially cracked.
Based on the analysis of the above damage causes, after the copper sleeve is blocked in the lubrication hole, the copper sleeve will rise sharply, and the temperature will rise to a certain level, which will cause the copper sleeve to crack and expand, and finally contact with the thrust pads on both sides.After the thrust pad is squeezed, the temperature will rise rapidly, and finally ablate, so the pin shaft will bear a large torque and high temperature, resulting in cracks.
