Reducer is a kind of precision machinery. If it is used for too long or maintained improperly, it will cause failure or even damage of reducer. So, the problem is, how can we prolong the service life of the reducer?

1. After 200 ~ 300 hours of operation, the oil shall be changed for the first time. In future use, the habit of regularly checking the oil quality shall be formed. The oil mixed with impurities or deteriorated must be replaced in time.
Generally, for the reducer that works continuously for a long time, the new oil shall be replaced according to 5000 hours of operation or once a year. For the reducer that has been out of service for a long time, the new oil shall also be replaced before re operation.
The reducer shall be filled with oil with the same brand as the original one. Do not mix oil with different brands. Oil with the same brand but different viscosity can be mixed;
2. When changing the oil, pay attention to wait until the reducer cools down and there is no danger of combustion, but still keep it warm, because after complete cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases and it is difficult to drain the oil. Note: cut off the power supply of the transmission device to prevent inadvertent power on;
3. During operation, when the oil temperature rise exceeds 80 ℃ or the oil pool temperature exceeds 100 ℃ and abnormal noise is generated, the use shall be stopped, the causes shall be checked, the faults must be eliminated, and the operation can be continued only after the lubricating oil is replaced;
4. The user shall have reasonable use and maintenance rules and regulations, carefully record the operation of the reducer and the problems found in the inspection, and the above provisions shall be strictly implemented.
If you buy a low-quality reducer, there will be various problems in its use. Therefore, in order to avoid this trouble, please don't try to be cheap or buy it at will. To find a regular brand, buy through regular channels.
