CCWS250 - 200 - 1 belongs to the CCWS series of worm gear reducers. There is no fixed standard for the noise change range when the load changes. The core is affected by its own component factors such as meshing transmission accuracy, lubrication status, bearings and assembly conditions, as well as external factors such as installation and operating environment. The details are as follows:
1. Factors related to meshing transmission
Part processing accuracy: If the worm gear of the reducer has pitch errors, high tooth surface roughness, or deviations in lead and helix angle, the tooth surface contact will be more uneven when the load changes. For example, when the load increases, the pressure on the meshing surface that originally lacked accuracy will increase sharply. Not only will the noise increase significantly, but sharp whistling may also occur. For example, the worm helix angle error will cause periodic abnormal noise in the meshing area. The larger the load, the more obvious the abnormal noise will be, and the range of noise changes will also expand.
Degree of parts wear: After long-term use, if the worm gear tooth surface is pitted, worn, or even partially peeled off, the impact and friction of the worn parts will intensify when the load changes. When there is no load or low load, the impact of worn parts is small and the noise is low; when the load increases, the force on the worn area increases, and the noise will rise sharply, making the noise change range far beyond that of new or lightly worn equipment. For example, when the pitting corrosion area on the worm gear tooth surface exceeds 10%, the noise under rated load may be more than 10dB higher than the normal state.
2. Lubrication system status
Lubricating oil is the key to reducing worm gear meshing friction. If the viscosity of the selected lubricating oil does not match, or if it deteriorates during use or the oil quantity is insufficient, the noise will change significantly when the load changes. For example, at low load, although the oil film is thin, it can barely isolate part of the metal contact, and the noise rises gently; when the load increases, the oil film is easy to break, the tooth surface rubs directly, and the noise will suddenly increase significantly. In an auto parts factory, after the viscosity of the lubricating oil was attenuated, the reduction box was accompanied by high-frequency howling, and the greater the load, the more severe the howling. In addition, impurities mixed into the lubricating oil will also destroy the oil film, making the noise fluctuations more obvious when the load changes.
3. Bearing and assembly accuracy
Bearing status: The reducer bearing assembly is too tight, too loose, or has problems such as wear and fatigue spalling. The noise in the bearing area will fluctuate significantly when the load changes. For example, if the preload force deviation of a bearing exceeds 15%, it may only emit a slight buzzing sound under low load; when the load increases, the contact stress between the rolling element and the inner and outer rings is abnormal, and periodic abnormal noise will occur, which will expand the range of overall noise changes. If the bearing experiences fatigue spalling, load changes may also cause periodic knocking sounds.
Assembly accuracy: During assembly, if the axial clearance of the worm gear is too large, the flatness error of the box joint surface exceeds the standard, or the coaxiality deviates, the relative displacement of the components will intensify when the load changes. For example, when the axial clearance of the worm gear exceeds 0.15mm, the no-load noise has significantly increased. The impact at the gap after the load increases will further increase the noise. Compared with the accurately assembled equipment, the noise variation range will increase by 10-15dB. For example, every 0.01mm increase in the flatness error of the cabinet joint surface will increase the vibration amplitude by 18%, thereby amplifying the noise fluctuations.
