Divide the deviation value displayed by the dial gauge pointer by 2, which is the value of the axis deviation. Calculate the average value of the two differences to obtain the angular deviation.
3. Adjust the axis line
Adjust position : According to the measurement results, change the position of the reducer by adjusting the mounting bolts or base of the reducer, so that the axis line of the input shaft and the output shaft overlap as much as possible. If the coaxiality error is large, it may be necessary to move the reducer significantly.
Use gaskets : Add or reduce gaskets between the reducer base and the mounting surface to fine-tune the height and angle of the reducer for better coaxiality. The thickness of the gasket shall be determined based on the measured deviation value.
Measure again : After each adjustment, use the measurement tool to check the coaxiality again to ensure that the adjustment direction is correct and the deviation gradually decreases. Repeat the gasket thickness and position of the shift reducer until the coaxiality meets the requirements. Generally speaking, the radial deviation should be controlled within 0.05mm, and the angle deviation should be ≤0.1°.
4. Consider thermal expansion factors
Since the reducer generates heat during operation, resulting in the axial rise and the axis center distance expanding, the impact of thermal expansion should be considered during adjustment. Normally, the centers of the high-speed and low-speed shafts of the reducer are slightly lower than the centers of the motor shaft and driven shafts to compensate for thermal expansion during operation. 5. Final inspection and fixation
Comprehensive inspection : After the adjustment is completed, check the installation of the reducer again, including whether the bolts are tightened and whether the coupling is connected well.
Trial operation : Before it is officially put into use, conduct trial operation and observe the operating conditions of the reducer, such as whether there is abnormal vibration, noise, etc. If problems are found, shut down and check in time and readjust the coaxiality.
