Check the installation foundation regularly : Check whether the installation bolts are loose, whether there are cracks or deformations on the installation base of the reducer. If there is any looseness, the bolts must be tightened in time. If there is any problem with the base, it must be repaired or replaced in time to ensure that the reducer is installed firmly and avoid vibration and noise increase due to unstable installation, or even damage to the reducer.
Appearance inspection : Check frequently for cracks and damage to the reducer shell, and whether there is oil leakage at the sealing surfaces of each joint surface. If there is cracks in the shell, it may affect its strength and sealing, and it needs to be dealt with in a timely manner; oil leakage will lead to a decrease in the amount of lubricating oil, affecting the lubricating effect. Find out the cause of leakage and repair the sealing part.
Lubricating oil inspection : Check the oil level of the lubricating oil regularly to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range, the oil level will not be fully lubricated, and accelerate wear; the oil level is too high, which may lead to an increase in the oil temperature and poor heat dissipation. At the same time, check the oil quality according to the specified cycle to observe whether the color viscosity of the oil is normal, and whether there are any impurities and odors. Generally, the oil is changed for the first time after running for 200-300 hours. After that, the lubricating oil will be replaced at least once a year for every 5000-10000 hours or at least once a year.
Temperature monitoring : Pay attention to the temperature during the operation of the reducer. Under normal circumstances, the oil temperature of the reducer should not exceed the specified value (usually 80-90℃). If the oil temperature is too high, it may be caused by excessive load of lubricant oil or insufficient cooling system failure. The problem needs to be checked and solved in a timely manner to prevent lubricant performance from degrading due to high temperature. Gears and bearings and other components are damaged.
Vibration and noise inspection : Listen to the sound of the reducer when running and observe its vibration. When operating normally, the reducer should be stable and has little noise. If abnormal noise or aggravation of vibration occurs, it may be caused by gear wear bearing damage to the shaft system or foreign objects enter. The machine should be stopped immediately to check, find out the cause of the fault and repair or replace the damaged parts.
Load inspection : Make sure the reducer operates within the rated load range, avoid long-term overloading, which will cause the reducer to bear excessive load, accelerate gears and bearings, and may even cause damage to the reducer. The reducer model and specification should be reasonably selected according to the actual working conditions to ensure that it can meet the working requirements.
Input and output shaft inspection : Check whether the connection part of the input and output shaft is loose, whether the key is worn, the connection is loose, which will cause unstable transmission, and the wear of the key will affect the power transmission efficiency. The connection bolts should be tightened in time or replaced with the worn keys.
Cleaning and maintenance : Keep the surface of the reducer clean, and remove dust, oil and debris in time, such pollutants may affect the heat dissipation effect of the reducer, and it is also convenient to detect abnormal conditions of the reducer in time.
