1. Preparation before startup (key)
1. Installation and alignment inspection
Make sure the base is firm and the anchor bolts are evenly tightened and not loose.

Manual turning, flexible rotation, no jamming, and no abnormal noise.
2. Lubrication system inspection
Add special extreme pressure lubricating oil for worm gears (such as L-CKC 220/320/460, select according to speed/temperature).
The oil level is between 1/2 and 2/3 of the oil mark, and the oil level needs to submerge 1/2 to 2/3 of the worm gear tooth height.
The vent plug is unobstructed to prevent abnormal pressure in the box.
3. Environment and steering confirmation
Ambient temperature: -40℃~+40℃; if it is below 0℃, the lubricating oil needs to be preheated.
Run in the direction marked by the arrow, and reverse impact is prohibited.
2. No-load trial operation (running-in stage)
1. Run without load for 30 minutes to 2 hours
After starting, observe the steering and listen for noise (smooth and low frequency is normal).
Monitoring: box temperature ≤50℃, bearing temperature ≤40℃, no leakage, no abnormal vibration.
If abnormal noise, vibration, or temperature rise exceeds the standard, stop the machine immediately for investigation.
2. Running-in requirements
The oil must be changed and the oil tank cleaned after the first 500 hours of operation.
After running in, check the fasteners and seals to ensure there is no looseness or leakage.
3. Load operation specifications
1. Gradually load
After the no-load is stable, start from 25% rated load and increase to 100% in stages.
It is strictly prohibited to start directly with heavy load. Soft start/frequency control is recommended.
2. Load limit
Do not exceed rated torque, power and input speed.
The radial/axial force of the output shaft does not exceed the allowable value, and the cantilever load needs to be supported.
3. Operation monitoring (hourly inspection)
Temperature: oil temperature ≤85℃, bearing ≤70℃; temperature rise ≤60℃.
Noise and vibration: ≤75dB, no impact or howling.
Oil level and seal: The oil level is normal and there is no leakage.
Current: The motor current is within the rated range.
4. Exception handling during operation
Sudden rise in oil temperature, sudden change in noise, severe vibration, oil leakage, and peculiar smell: stop the machine immediately and check for problems such as lubrication, alignment, load, and meshing.
It is strictly prohibited to force operation under fault conditions.
