2. Precautions for operation of the reducer
1. Hammering is strictly prohibited during assembly: the shaft cannot withstand axial hammering, and the screw hole at the end of the shaft can be screwed into the threaded compression joint.
2. An exhaust cap must be installed to ensure that the gas is discharged during operation, otherwise the internal gas will damage the oil seal and cause oil leakage.
3. Change the engine oil in time after 300-400 hours of initial operation.For the long-term continuous operation of the reducer, the new oil is generally replaced every 5000 hours or every year.The reducer that has been shut down for a long time should also be replaced with new oil before restarting.The reducer should be filled with the same grade of oil as the original equipment, and oil of different grades must not be mixed.It is permissible to mix oils of the same brand and different viscosities.
4. Check the oil seal and gearbox temperature.During operation, when the oil temperature rises above .Stop using it when the temperature reaches 80°C or the oil temperature exceeds 100°C and produces abnormal noise.Check the cause, troubleshoot, and replace the lubricating oil before continuing.
3. Reducer Selection
1. When choosing a good brand, pay attention to the internal brand and quality of bearings, gears, oil seals, etc. For example, the effective service life of bearings should not be less than 50000H.
2. Choose good design and working conditions.The mechanical rated power of the reducer should be equal to or greater than the product of the motor nameplate power and service factor.The heating power of the reducer should be equal to or greater than the product of the motor nameplate power and the service factor.We recommend that all reducers have a service factor of not less than 1.6.In addition, the continuous working temperature of the reducer is not higher than 70°C.
3. Noise requirements: When the reducer is running at full load, the noise at a distance of 1m around it shall not be higher than 70db (A)
4. Supporting facilities, including high-voltage motors, couplings and connection methods, and related monitoring devices, including shaft temperature alarms, flow switches for large reducers, circulating cooling, service motor supporting facilities, etc.
5. The safety factor of DT, DC, leaching reducer and other core equipment shall not be lower than 2.5, and the safety factor of leaching workshop conveying equipment (including rotary valve), pretreatment curved scraper, elevator and pre-compressor reducer shall not be lower than 2.0.
