Use a dial meter to ensure the concentricity of the transmission shaft, which mainly includes the steps of installing a dial meter, measuring and adjusting. The following is a specific introduction:
Preparation
Clean the drive shaft and related installation surfaces to ensure that there is no oil, impurities, etc. to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
Check whether the dial indicator works normally, whether the pointer can rotate flexibly, and whether the range meets the measurement requirements.
Installation Dimension Table
Adsorb the magnetic cushion onto a stable fixed bracket or device housing to ensure that the cushion does not shake during measurement.
Adjust the position of the dial meter head so that its measuring rod is perpendicular to the surface of the transmission shaft, and the meter head is gently in contact with the surface of the transmission shaft. Generally, the dial meter pointer is pre-compressed by 1-2mm to ensure that the pointer can swing normally during measurement.
Measure initial data
Manually rotate the transmission shaft, so that the dial meter can rotate around the circumference of the transmission shaft for one round, observe the swing of the dial meter pointer, record the maximum and minimum readings of the pointer. The difference between the two is the radial jump value of the transmission shaft, which reflects the current concentricity deviation of the transmission shaft.
Adjust the drive shaft
Based on the measurement data in the dial table, analyze the direction and amplitude that the drive shaft needs to be adjusted. If the radial runout value exceeds the allowable range, the drive shaft needs to be adjusted. This is usually achieved by adjusting the installation position of the reducer or the support point of the transmission shaft. For example, if the dial meter shows that the reading on one side of the drive shaft is large, it means that the drive shaft on that side is off center, and it is necessary to fine-tune the reducer or drive in the opposite direction in the axial direction.
After each adjustment, manually rotate the drive shaft again and measure the radial jump with a dial until the jump value is within the allowable range. Generally speaking, for ZSY250 reducer, the concentricity of the transmission shaft is relatively high, and the allowable radial jump is usually between 0.05 and 0.1mm. For specific values, please refer to the installation instructions of the reducer.
Retest and fixation
After confirming that the transmission shaft is adjusted in place, turn the transmission shaft again for retesting to ensure that the reading of the dial meter is stable and within the allowable range.
Finally, fasten the mounting bolts or other connecting parts of the reducer and drive shaft to prevent position changes during the operation of the equipment and affect the concentricity. During the tightening process, pay attention to operating in accordance with the prescribed torque requirements to avoid the transmission shaft being eccentric again due to uneven bolt tightening force.
Using a dial meter to ensure the concentricity of the transmission shaft requires the operator to have certain skills and experience, and be careful during the measurement and adjustment process to ensure that the installation accuracy of the transmission shaft meets the equipment operation requirements.
