The core of solving the problem of excessive non-axiality of the axis line of the ZD15 soft tooth surface reducer lies in accurate measurement and fine adjustment. Please follow these systematic steps.
1. Before starting fine adjustment, be sure to complete the following preparations:
Eliminate "soft feet": Use a feeler gauge to check the contact between the reducer and motor base and the installation foundation to ensure that all feet are evenly stressed and not suspended.
Preliminary alignment: loosen the coupling and use a ruler and feeler gauge to roughly align the motor and reducer so that the radial and axial deviations of the two axes are within the adjustable range.
Environmental preparation: Ensure that the equipment is at normal temperature and avoid operating in an environment with strong vibration or drastic temperature changes.
2. Accurate measurement and adjustment methods
It is recommended to use the following two methods for accurate measurement and adjustment, among which the dial indicator method is the most commonly used method on site.
1. Dial indicator detection method (recommended)
This is the most classic and reliable on-site correction method, which determines deviations by measuring radial and end runout.
(1) Install the dial indicator: Fix the magnetic meter holder on the half coupling of the motor shaft or reducer input shaft, and install the dial indicator.
(2) Measure radial deviation (parallelism): Place the probe of the dial indicator vertically on the outer circle of the other half of the coupling. Turn the car slowly, rotate the shaft once (record at least four points of 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°), and record the maximum and minimum values of the dial indicator. The difference between the two is the radial deviation.
(3) Measure the axial deviation (angle): Place the probe of the dial indicator vertically against the end face of the other half of the coupling (as close to the outer edge as possible). Make the same turn and record the readings. The difference between the upper and lower or left and right readings is the axial deflection.
(4) Calculation and adjustment:
Vertical adjustment: Based on the measurement data, calculate the thickness of the gasket that needs to be increased or decreased at the front and rear feet of the motor. For example, if the center of the motor shaft is low, add a shim of corresponding thickness under the motor foot.
Horizontal adjustment: Correct the left and right deviation by moving the motor base laterally.
