The impact of humidity on the ZQ400-23.34-1 reducer can be systematically assessed through dual environmental and internal monitoring methods. It is recommended to adopt a three-in-one monitoring plan of 'environmental monitoring + oil detection + visual inspection', focusing on the risk of condensation when the relative humidity is >60% and the critical point of deterioration when the moisture content of the lubricating oil is >0.1%. Combined with the high temperature and high humidity climate characteristics in Wuxi, a regular inspection mechanism needs to be established to achieve early warning.
Environmental humidity is the basic indicator to judge the possibility of water vapor intrusion. The micro-environment around the reducer should be monitored mainly:
Use a temperature and hygrometer to measure the relative humidity of the air within 1 meter around the reducer, record the data in the morning and evening every day, and focus on whether condensation on the box surface occurs in the early morning or when the temperature difference is large ;
For long-term monitoring, it is recommended to use with data recording function a portable dew point meter , which can measure dew point temperature and calculate relative humidity. It has high accuracy and fast response, and is suitable for hazardous areas and confined spaces;
When the ambient humidity continues to be >60% RH, or the dew point temperature is close to the surface temperature of the equipment, there is a risk of condensation and protective measures need to be initiated.
The moisture content in the lubricating oil is a direct indicator of the box sealing performance and internal humidity conditions:
Use a portable oil moisture detector for regular sampling and testing. When the moisture content is >0.1% (mass fraction), the risk of lubricating oil emulsification increases significantly and the lubrication performance decreases significantly;
It can be judged by visual inspection: if the oil is milky white or turbid and the foam increases, it indicates that emulsification has occurred;
Testing should be done every 2 months, and the frequency should be increased during the rainy season or after continuous rainy weather.
By viewing the internal conditions without disassembly, early signs of damage can be detected in time:
Open the observation hole cover and check whether there are yellowish-brown rust or water droplets remaining on the inner wall of the box, the gear end face, and the non-meshing area of the journal;
Check whether the metal debris adsorbed on the oil drain plug magnet is mixed with reddish-brown rust particles as evidence of internal corrosion;
Check the oil seal seat hole, bearing end cover and other sealing parts for oil leakage or water stains to determine the degree of seal aging.
To achieve a more comprehensive humidity impact assessment, the following measures can be supplemented:
Install a temperature and humidity sensor label on the inner wall of the box , and use a handheld device to read the historical temperature and humidity peak value when the machine is shut down;
Install a breathing valve with desiccant , and regularly check the color of the desiccant (it becomes invalid when it changes from blue to red), which indirectly reflects the degree of moisture intrusion;
Record the operating current and vibration of the motor. If there are abnormal fluctuations, it may be related to bearing corrosion and poor lubrication. The influence of humidity needs to be investigated in reverse.
