The oil level is the basis of the cooling system and needs to be checked regularly and kept at the center line of the oil window or oil mark. The inspection needs to be carried out after the equipment is shut down and cooled down to ensure accurate readings.
The lubricating oil of a new reducer needs to be replaced after 150-300 hours of first operation to remove metal debris generated during the running-in period. The regular oil change interval is every 6-12 months or 2000-3000 cumulative operating hours (whichever comes first). If the oil color becomes black, turbid or metal debris appears, the oil needs to be changed in advance. When changing the oil, use the same oil as the original brand and model, and avoid mixing.
A good seal is key to preventing oil leaks and external contaminants from entering. The output shaft of the vertical reducer should use a 'labyrinth seal + skeleton oil seal' combination to prevent oil leakage and dust intrusion. Check the status of seals regularly and replace aging and worn seals promptly.
Oil temperature, vibration and noise need to be closely monitored during operation. The oil temperature should be controlled within the range of 45℃-60℃. If it continues to exceed 80℃, the cause needs to be investigated. Abnormal vibration or noise may be a precursor to failure and should be repaired in time2. It is recommended to inspect once an hour and record operating data for traceability.
