To determine whether there is misalignment of the NRV110-50 reducer (the axis of the output shaft and the load shaft is not aligned), it can be comprehensively judged through three aspects: operating status observation, physical detection and data measurement . The specific method is as follows:
Periodic and regular vibrations occur during operation, especially near the coupling, and the vibration frequency increases as the rotational speed increases (poor alignment will cause uneven stress on the rotating parts, resulting in centrifugal force vibration).
If you touch the reducer housing or load equipment with your hands, you will feel an obvious 'beating feeling' instead of uniform and smooth vibration.
Emit a 'buzzing sound', 'clicking sound' or 'friction sound' that is different from normal operation, especially when the load increases (axis deviation will cause abnormal coupling or gear meshing, resulting in impact or friction noise).
The location of abnormal noise is concentrated at the connection between the output shaft and the coupling, or at the bearing end cover of the reducer.
The temperature of the coupling surface and the bearing seat at the output end of the reducer rises significantly (exceeds the ambient temperature by 40°C or feels hot to the touch), and poor alignment leads to increased friction and blocked heat dissipation.
Compare the input and output temperatures. If the output temperature is significantly higher, it may be local overheating caused by alignment problems.
In a short period of time, the coupling elastomer (such as plum blossom pads and rubber rings) may crack, deform or wear unevenly, and the bolts may loosen or even break.
Abnormal wear (such as unilateral wear and scratches) on the output shaft shoulder, keyway or load shaft mating surface is caused by unbalanced load.
Fix the meter base on the output flange of the reducer. The dial indicator probe vertically collides with the outer circle of the load shaft. Rotate the two axes synchronously for one revolution. Record the maximum and minimum readings. Calculate the deviation: Radial deviation = (maximum reading - minimum reading) / 2. The dial indicator probe vertically collides with the end face of the load shaft flange (near the edge). Rotate for one revolution and record the maximum and minimum reading difference. Convert to angular deviation: Angular deviation = (reading difference / flange diameter) × 1000
If the two shafts are connected through a flange and the bolts are not tightened, use a feeler gauge to detect the gap around the flange end face:
If the gap difference between symmetrical positions is >0.05mm (corresponding to a flange diameter of about 150mm), it indicates that there is an angular offset, which is a misalignment.
