When the WHX125-40:1 worm gear reducer operates in high-load scenarios such as metallurgy and lifting, the quality of foundation fixation and leveling directly determines the stability, transmission accuracy and service life of the equipment. If the foundation is unstable or the level is out of tolerance, it can easily lead to increased vibration, eccentric bearing loading, seal leakage and even gear damage. High-quality installation must be achieved through systematic control.
Selection of basic materialsIt
is recommended to use high-strength concrete (above C25) or steel structure platform to ensure that it can withstand the weight of the reducer and the impact load during operation, and avoid stress concentration in the box due to foundation settlement or deformation.
Surface flatness controlThe
installation surface flatness error should be ≤0.1mm/m. Use steel flat gaskets for leveling. It is prohibited to use easily compressible materials such as wooden boards or rubber pads as leveling media.
Reserve the anchor hole and oil drain spaceThe position of
the anchor bolt hole must match the base of the reducer, and ensure that there is operating space under the oil drain port to facilitate later maintenance.
Measurement tool requirementsUse a frame level
with an accuracy of not less than 0.02mm/m, and place it on the end face of the input shaft and output shaft for testing to ensure that the axial and radial horizontal errors are both ≤0.1mm/m.
Leveling method
After initial positioning, adjust the height of the base by adding or removing steel spacers.
Use the 'cross' method to fine-tune the diagonal gaskets to avoid distortion of the shell caused by force on one side.
Re-measure after each adjustment until the four-corner readings are consistent and meet the standards.
Bolt tightening specifications
First preload to 30% of rated torque
Tightened to 70% the second time
The final tightening torque specified by the manufacturer is reached for the third time (usually 300–400N·m)
Use anchor bolts with specified strength levels (such as M20) and tighten them diagonally in three steps:
After tightening, recheck the levelness to prevent box deformation due to overtightening of the bolts.
