Choose the right lubricant
According to the working environment and load: select lubricating oil according to the ambient temperature, load size, etc. of the reducer. For example, in an environment of -10°C to 5°C, industrial extreme pressure gear oil can be used No. 68; in an environment of 0°C to 35°C, No. 100 or No. 150 oil can be used; at 30°C to 50°C, No. 220 or No. 320 oil can be used. 40# or 50# mechanical oil can also be used at room temperature, but to improve performance and extend life, 70# or 90# extreme pressure gear oil is recommended.
Ensure the quality of oil products: Use lubricating oil that meets relevant standards and is reliable in quality to prevent the use of spoiled, contaminated or counterfeit and inferior oil products.
Ensure the correct amount of oil
Refer to oil level marks: Check the oil level through an observation device such as oil level screw plug, tubular oil mark or oil viewing window, keep the oil level between the highest oil level line and the lowest oil level line, or make the lubricating oil cover 1/4-1/3 of the large gear.
Follow manual recommendations: Add the recommended amount of oil in the user manual or technical documentation provided by the reducer manufacturer.
Use reasonable lubrication
Oil pool lubrication: For BWY15-35-1.5KW, this usually horizontal cycloid pin wheel reducer, generally uses oil pool lubrication. During normal operation, it is necessary to ensure that the oil level remains in the middle of the oil-visible window.
Cyclic lubrication is used in special circumstances: If the working conditions of load debugging are harsh and the ambient temperature is high, cycle lubrication can be considered to better dissipate heat and ensure lubrication effect.
Regular maintenance and inspection
Regularly replace lubricant: After the new reducer is running for 100 hours, the oil needs to be replaced and the interior is cleaned. It will be replaced every six months (8-hour working system). If the working environment is harsh, such as high temperature, humidity, dust, etc., the replacement cycle needs to be shortened and can be replaced every 3 months.
Check the lubrication system: Check the lubrication system's pipelines, joints, valves and other components regularly to ensure there is no oil leakage, blockage and other problems. Also check whether the lubricator is working normally and whether the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Pay attention to the equipment operation status: During the load debugging process, pay close attention to the oil temperature, noise, vibration and other conditions of the reducer. If the oil temperature is too high, abnormal noise or increased vibration occurs, it may be caused by poor lubrication, and the machine needs to be shut down in time to check and troubleshoot.
Correct installation and operation
Standard installation: When installing the reducer, you must strictly follow the installation instructions to ensure that the bearings and other components are installed in place and the clearance is adjusted appropriately to avoid oil leakage due to improper installation, resulting in uneven distribution of lubricating oil or damage to the seal.
Avoid overload operation: During load debugging, do not let the reducer run beyond its rated load and speed, so as not to cause excessive pressure to the lubricant, affect the lubricating effect, and accelerate component wear.
Follow operating procedures: Start, stop and run the reducer in accordance with the correct operating procedures, avoid frequent starts and emergency stops, and reduce impact on the lubricating system.
