Preparation and inspection before installation
Check component dimensional accuracy: accurately measure the diameter, length, keyway and other dimensions of the reducer output shaft and the screw shaft of the rubber screw extruder to ensure that the dimensional deviation is within the design requirements. At the same time, check the surface flatness and roundness of the shaft, and there will be no obvious processing defects or deformation.
Clean the connection parts: Use appropriate detergent to wipe the anti-rust oil, oil and impurities in the connection parts of the reducer output shaft, connecting flange and rubber screw extruder to ensure the tightness of the connection.
Use appropriate installation tools and methods
Use centering tools: special centering tools such as laser centering instruments, centering rods, centering sleeves can be used. If using a laser centering meter, the laser emitter is installed on the reducer output shaft and the receiver is installed on the screw shaft. By adjusting the laser beam to align the center of the receiver, the center of the two axes can be achieved.
Use reasonable assembly process: if coupling is used, first install half of the coupling on the output shaft of the reducer and the other half on the screw shaft, and then realize the alignment of the two shafts by adjusting the position of the coupling. It is prohibited to use hammers and other tools to hit roughly. You can use the internal threads of the assembly clamps and end shafts to press the transmission into the force of the bolts to avoid damaging the shaft and bearings.
Precise adjustments during installation
Adjust the level of the rack: First place the rack on a flat foundation, use a high-precision level to adjust the level of the rack to ensure that the rack is on the same plane, and provide a stable foundation for the installation of reducer and extruder.
Preliminary positioning reducer: Install the reducer on the frame, and through measurement and adjustment, the central height of the reducer output shaft is approximately the same as the central height of the screw shaft of the rubber screw extruder, and fine-tuning can be used with gaskets, etc.
Accurate centering adjustment: Connect the barrel of the reducer and the extruder, and then measure the distance between the output shaft end of the reducer and the relevant position of the barrel, or use a measurement tool such as a dial meter to detect the coaxiality and perpendicularity of the two axes, and make precise adjustments based on the measurement results until the specified accuracy requirements are met.
Check and confirm after installation
Manual carriage inspection: After the installation is completed, manually rotate the reducer input shaft to drive the output shaft and screw shaft to rotate, check whether the rotation is smooth, whether there is any jam or abnormal resistance, and observe whether the relative positions of the two axes have changed.
Test operation inspection: Carry out no-load trial operation, observe the operation of the reducer and extruder, and check whether there are abnormal noise, vibration or heating. If there is any abnormality, the machine should be shut down immediately for inspection and readjust the alignment.
