2. Adjustment of oil change intervals
Special requirements in summer: Since the grease loss rate of equipment doubles in high temperature environments, and the oil is easy to age, in summer or under severe working conditions, the oil change cycle of the reducer should be appropriately shortened (for example, shortened by 30%), and the frequency of daily inspections of oil level and oil quality should be increased. Once the oil is found to be emulsified, black and turbid, or mixed with impurities, it must be replaced immediately.
3. Heat dissipation and temperature monitoring
Antifreeze in winter: When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, in addition to replacing low-freezing point lubricating oil, attention must also be paid to the preheating and smooth start-up of the equipment in a cold state to avoid malfunctions caused by thick lubricating oil.
Cooling in summer: In summer, you need to focus on the heat dissipation of the reducer. The dust and debris accumulated on the reducer casing, heat sink and vents should be cleaned regularly to ensure that the heat dissipation pipeline is unobstructed. At the same time, the temperature of the reducer needs to be monitored in real time. It is generally required that the temperature rise of the lubricating oil should not exceed 35°C, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 60°C. If the temperature is too high, the machine should be stopped immediately for cooling and investigation.
4. Seal and oil leakage inspection
Leakage prevention in summer: Under high temperature conditions, the internal pressure of the reducer is easy to rise, causing the seals to age faster. Therefore, in summer, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection of the oil seal seal of the reducer and tighten the box fixing bolts to strictly prevent oil leakage and oil seepage at high temperatures, so as to avoid aggravation of gear wear due to insufficient lubrication.
To sum up, the core of seasonal maintenance of winding machine reducers is "thin in winter and thick in summer, anti-condensation in winter and heat-proof in summer".
