Bearings damaged
Cause: Factors such as excessive bearing load, insufficient lubrication, improper installation, and long-term operation fatigue can easily cause bearing damage.
Performance: Vibration will occur when the reducer is running, the temperature will rise, accompanied by abnormal sound, which will cause the reducer to stagnate and cannot operate normally.
Oil leak
Cause: The seal is aging and damaged, the box joint surface is not tight, the oil level is too high, and the ventilation holes are blocked, etc. may cause oil leakage.
Performance: The reducer shell has oil marks and the oil level gradually drops, which not only pollutes the equipment and working environment, but may also cause damage to internal parts due to oil deficiency.
Abnormal fever
Cause: Excessive load, poor heat dissipation, excessive or too little lubricating grease, poor gear meshing, etc. may cause abnormal heating of the reducer.
Performance: The temperature of the reducer housing is too high and exceeds the normal operating temperature range (usually 40-60℃). In severe cases, the lubricant performance will degrade and affect the normal operation of the reducer.
Too much noise
Cause: In addition to the noise caused by wear and damage to the gears, noise will also be generated by improper installation of reducer, uneven foundation, poor gear meshing, insufficient lubricating oil or deterioration.
Performance: During operation, the reducer emits harsh, sharp or irregular noise, affecting the working environment, and may also be an early warning signal for equipment failure.
