Conveyor reducer installation and debugging tutorial! Eliminate later failures in one step 2026-06-30
The installation and debugging quality of the reducer directly determines the later failure rate and service life. Many equipment leave the factory without problems, but improper installation leads to abnormal noise, oil leakage, vibration, jamming, and frequent failures later on. Today I will share the complete installation and debugging steps of the conveyor reducer. Novices can also operate it in a standardized manner and avoid faults from the source. Step 1: Check before installation. Unpack the reducer and check whether the appearance of the reducer is intact, the accessories are complete, and there is no bump or deformation; check whether the model, power, and speed ratio match the equipment; check whether the lubricating oil level and seals are intact, and there are no oil leakage or oil shortage problems. Step 2: Precise alignment and installation. Clean the equipment installation base to ensure that the base surface is flat, free of debris, and deformed; accurately connect the reducer to the motor and conveyor to ensure consistent coaxiality and eliminate offset and misalignment; after fitting the installation surface, tighten the bolts evenly and diagonally. It is prohibited to tighten on one side to avoid deformation and oil leakage of the end cover. Step 3: Lubricating oil filling and debugging. Specify according to equipment manual
