How to improve the efficiency of servo planetary reducer

The traditional no-load torque test of the servo planetary reducer is to install a torque wrench at the input end of the reducer at room temperature, and gradually increase the torque. The output shaft turns from stationary to rotating, and the torque value is recorded. The torque value will increase from small to large and then decrease.During the test, the output shaft rotates more than 10 revolutions, and the maximum torque value is the no-load rotation torque of the planetary reducer. However, in this test method, human factors account for a large proportion. The speed of the torque wrench is difficult to control, and the input speed will directly affect the output torque fluctuation of the reducer. Therefore, it is difficult to observe small torque changes of the reducer.

The method uses a set of servo drive system to realize the dynamic measurement of the mechanical efficiency of the servo planetary reducer.A set of servo system is used to test the transmission efficiency of the reducer. There is no need to prepare a dedicated test platform.Simply connect the reducer to an existing servo drive.By measuring and analyzing the torque fluctuation value, the reducer can be inspected and tested.

Method: The computer is connected to the controller and the driver, the driver is connected to the motor, and then the motor is directly connected to the servo planetary reducer.Efficiency is an important performance index of the reducer, but efficiency needs to be measured.Often, it is difficult to measure efficiency.

The transmission ratio of the reducer is constant. As long as the torque of the input shaft and output shaft is measured, the deformation of the servo planetary reducer during torque transmission can be measured. The torque of the servo planetary reducer can be measured as long as the relative torque angle of the two segments of the input shaft (or output shaft) is measured.

In addition, when the planetary gear is working, using the correct number of teeth can improve the efficiency, prolong the service life, and make the transmission more reliable.
