How to avoid geared motor burning

Gear motor is one of the main equipment in industrial and agricultural production.Combustion events of gear reducers happen from time to time.In order to avoid this phenomenon of the gear reducer, the effective protection measures are as follows:
Keep the geared motor clean.During the operation of the reducer, if dust or other debris enters, it will damage the conductor insulation, cause a short circuit, and burn the reducer.We should also clean the outside of the turbo reducer frequently to ensure the heat dissipation of the reducer.
Watch carefully and stop smelling immediately.Observe the vibration and noise of the reducer.During the operation of the geared motor, especially the electric drum reducer, it is necessary to check frequently whether the anchor bolts and the bearing gland are loose and reliable.If strong vibration, loud noise, and peculiar smell are found, the machine must be shut down to find out the cause.
Too much load on the gear reducer and too low voltage will cause the motor reducer to overload.Always check the transmission during operation; if the coupling is stuck, stop the machine immediately to troubleshoot.
Regularly check and repair the control equipment of the geared motor to ensure normal operation.The technical status of the reducer control equipment plays a decisive role in the normal start-up of the motor reducer.Therefore, the control equipment of the geared motor should be installed in a dry, ventilated and easy-to-operate location.Check whether the technical conditions of the contactor contacts, coil cores, screws, etc. are in good condition to ensure the smooth operation of the reducer.
Check the reducer frequently for overheating, lack of oil, cracks, scratches or damage.
Check that the mean value of the gearbox current balance differs by more than 10%.
This can prevent the reducer from burning out the machine.
