Is the temperature of the granulator reducer too high and the power insufficient?

Root cause one: lubricant failure or improper filling. If the lubricating oil is not replaced for a long time, it will deteriorate, the viscosity will decrease, and an effective lubricating layer will not be formed. Dry friction of the gears will generate a lot of heat. At the same time, the transmission resistance will increase, and the power loss will increase sharply. Too much oil will lead to poor internal heat dissipation and excessive pressure, while too little oil will aggravate friction and heat. Solution: Replace with new special gear oil and fill it quantitatively according to the standard scale.
Root cause two: gears and bearings wear and age. After the equipment has been used for a long time, the gears wear, the bearing clearance becomes larger, the transmission accuracy decreases, and the running resistance increases. Not only does the body heat up, but the power transmission is insufficient, and the force cannot be exerted. If there is slight wear, the clearance can be adjusted and lubrication added. If the wear is serious, the gear bearing assembly needs to be replaced.
Root cause three: long-term overload work. Frequent jamming and overfeeding put the reducer in an overload state for a long time, the internal load exceeds the standard, the temperature rises rapidly, and the transmission efficiency drops significantly. Long-term overloading will accelerate the aging of accessories and shorten the life of the equipment. Solution: Standardize the feed amount, avoid overload operation, and reserve a reasonable torque margin.
Root cause four: poor heat dissipation conditions. High temperatures in summer, poor ventilation in the workshop, and dust accumulation on the surface of the equipment will all cause the reducer to be unable to dissipate heat and continue to accumulate heat and heat up. Solution: Clean the dust on the equipment, install a cooling fan, run water to cool down during high temperature periods, and improve the heat dissipation environment.
As long as the above problems are solved in a targeted manner, the problems of overheating and insufficient power of the reducer can be quickly solved, the original production capacity of the equipment can be restored, and the equipment can be avoided from premature aging and scrapping.
