TY115-18-7.5KW hard tooth surface gear reducer seal Selection, you can refer to the following method to confirm one by one:

  1. According to the working temperature Selection when the operating environment temperature of the reducer is in the range of - 30℃~120℃, nitrile rubber (NBR) material seals are preferred. The typical product is nitrile skeleton oil seal. This material has outstanding cost performance and good compatibility with mineral gear oil. If the working temperature is high, ranging from 100℃ to 200℃, fluorine rubber (FKM) seals are recommended, such as fluorine rubber TC skeleton oil seals, which have better high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.

  2. According to the working medium Selection, the conventional medium of the reducer is gear lubricating oil, and nitrile rubber (NBR) seals are fully suitable under normal working conditions. If the gear oil used is added with special additives such as extreme pressure and anti-wear, the chemical activity of the medium will be stronger. It is recommended to upgrade to fluorine rubber (FKM) seals to resist chemical erosion caused by oil and extend the service life of the seal.

  3. Distinguish the sealing position and select the type of sealing structure. The rotary output shaft position adopts a lip seal, that is, a skeleton oil seal, which relies on the elasticity of the sealing lip to adhere closely to the shaft surface to prevent oil leakage. For static joint positions such as the box end cover and the box butt surface, use extrusion seals such as O-rings and rectangular rings.

  4. Combining working pressure and speed Selection In low-pressure static sealing scenarios (pressure ≤ 1MPa), NBR/FKM material O-rings or rubber gaskets can be used. For medium and high pressure dynamic sealing conditions (1~30MPa), NBR/FKM lip frame oil seal with spring structure should be used. Under high-speed working conditions, low-friction material seals are preferred, such as carbon fiber-filled PTFE seals or metal bellows seals.

  5. Check the installation dimensions. The specifications of the seal must match the shaft diameter of the reducer and the installation dimensions of the cavity to ensure that the seal and the shaft surface fit tightly to prevent leakage. Taking the skeleton oil seal as an example, the corresponding inner diameter specification needs to be selected based on the actual shaft diameter.
