1. Improve the ventilation cover and inspection hole cover: The internal pressure of the reducer is greater than the external atmospheric pressure, which is one of the main reasons for oil leakage.If you try to balance the pressure inside and outside the machine, you can prevent oil leaks.Although the reducer has a vent cover, the vent hole is too small, coal powder and oil are easily blocked, and the inspection hole cover must be opened every time you refuel.Once open, the possibility of oil leakage is increased by one time, so the original leak will not leak.Leaks also occur in places.Therefore, the oil cup vent cover was manufactured, and the original thin inspection hole cover was up to 6 mm thick, and the oil cup vent cover was welded to the cover.The vents are 6 mm in diameter for easy ventilation.To achieve pressure equalization, add oil from the oil cup when refueling without opening the inspection hole cover, which reduces the possibility of oil leakage.

2. Smooth flow: In order to prevent the excess lubricating oil thrown on the bearing by the gear from accumulating on the shaft seal, the excess lubricating oil must return to the oil pool in a certain direction, that is, to achieve smooth flow.The specific method is to open the oil return groove at the center of the lower shell of the bearing housing obliquely toward the center of the inner shell of the machine, and at the same time open a gap at the direct opening of the end cover, the gap is directly opposite to the oil change groove, so that excess lubricating oil can flow through Clearance and oil change slot.Go back to the oil pan.

3. Improve the shaft seal structure
1) The shaft seal of the reducer is improved, and its output shaft is a half shaft: the output shaft of the reducer of most equipment, such as belt conveyors, screw unloaders and impeller coal feeders, is a half shaft, which is convenient for modification.Remove the reducer, take out the coupling, take out the reducer shaft seal, install the frame oil seal according to the size of the support frame oil seal, and install the frame oil seal with one side of the spring facing inward.When reinstalling, if the distance from the inner end surface of the coupling exceeds 35mm, a spare oil seal can be installed on the outside of the end cover.Once the oil seal fails, the damaged oil seal can be removed and a spare oil seal can be pushed into the end cover.Eliminate time-consuming and laborious processes such as dismantling the reducer and dismantling the coupling.
2) The shaft seal of the improved reducer, its output shaft is the whole shaft: the output shaft of the reducer of the whole shaft transmission is not coupled.If it is modified according to the 2.3.1 scheme, the workload is too large and impractical.In order to reduce the workload and simplify the installation process, a split type cover was designed and an open type oil seal was tried.The outside of the diverter end cap is machined with grooves.When installing the oil seal, first remove the spring and insert the oil seal into the opening.Put the oil seal on the shaft from the opening, butt the opening with adhesive, and install the opening upwards.Put on the spring and push in the end cap.

4. Adopt new sealing materials: For the static sealing point leakage of the reducer, new polymer repair materials can be used to repair stickiness and blockage.If the electrostatic seal point of the reducer leaks oil during operation, the oil surface emergency repair agent of surface engineering technology can be used to plug it with polymer 25551 and 90T composite repair materials to achieve the purpose of eliminating oil leakage.

5. Carry out the maintenance process carefully: When the reducer is overhauled, the process specification must be carefully implemented.The oil seal must not be reversed, the lip must not be damaged, the outer edge must not be deformed, the spring must not fall off, the surface of the joint must be cleaned, the sealant must be applied evenly, and the oil must be applied.The amount should not exceed the scale of the oil painting ruler.

6. Wipe: The static sealing point of the reducer is usually leak-proof through treatment.However, due to the aging of the seal, poor quality, improper assembly and high surface roughness of the shaft, the dynamic sealing points still remain individual dynamic sealing points.Leaks are minimal.Due to the poor working environment, coal dust sticks to the shaft and seems greasy.Therefore, after the equipment stops, the oil on the shaft must be wiped off.
