Correct maintenance method of worm gear reducer

1. Ensure assembly quality
In order to ensure the assembly quality, our factory has purchased and produced many maintenance tools.When disassembling and reinstalling worm gears, worms, rolling bearings, transmissions and other parts of the reducer, it is necessary to use a hammer and other hard tools to directly beat; when disassembling and replacing transmission gears, worm gears and worms, original parts should be used as much as possible And parts and pairs; When assembling the output shaft, tolerance fit should be considered, and D50mm, H7/K6, D50mm and H7/M6 should be used.Additionally, the hollow shaft should be protected with an anti-seize compound or red lead oil to prevent galling and corrosion, prevent scaling of the fitting area, and make it difficult to disassemble during maintenance.
2. Application of industrial lubricants and additives
Worm gear reducers usually use 220# engine oil.For many reducers with heavy load, frequent operation and poor application environment, many lubricating oil additives (such as Anzhi Chemical Co., Ltd.) can also be used.When the reducer stops operating, the engine oil still adheres to the surface of the transmission gear to form a protective film to prevent heavy load and low speed, metal to metal contact during high torque and start.The additive is also equipped with a seal ring regulator and anti-leakage agent, which makes the sealing environment soft and elastic, effectively reducing the leakage of industrial lubricating oil.
3. Determine the determination of the reinstallation position of the reducer
If the location permits, vertical remounting should not be used as much as possible.In the process of vertical reinstallation, adding industrial lubricating oil is far more than horizontal reinstallation, which can easily cause burns and oil leakage of the reducer.The 40,000 bottles/hour pure beer production line introduced by the factory is installed vertically.After a long time of operation, the transmission gear is greatly worn or even damaged.After the adjustment, the situation improved greatly.
4. Establish a corresponding lubrication maintenance management system
The basic maintenance of the reducer should be done in a good way to ensure that each reducer is regularly maintained by the main person in charge.When the oil temperature rises significantly, the temperature increase is higher than 40°C or the oil temperature is higher than 80°C, the quality of the oil is reduced, or copper powder and abnormal noise are detected in the oil, it should be shut down immediately for repair and troubleshooting. Remove and replace industrial lubricants before application.When adding oil, the amount of oil and the reinstallation location should be consistent to ensure proper lubrication of the reducer.
