How to replace the internal parts of WB micro cycloidal reducer

1. Disassembly and replacement steps

1. Preparation: Cut off the power supply and put up a "Do Not Turn On" warning sign. Prepare the required tools, cleaning oil and spare parts that need to be replaced (such as bearings, oil seals, cycloidal wheels, etc.).

2. Drain oil and disassemble:

Unscrew the oil drain plug at the bottom of the machine base and drain the lubricating oil inside the machine.

Loosen and remove the fastening bolts connecting the machine base and the pin tooth housing, and separate the two parts.

3. Take out the internal parts:

Take out the shaft pin sleeve, cycloid gear in sequence (note the position of the prefix marked on its end face), isolation ring, arm bearing (eccentric sleeve) and another piece of cycloid gear.

If you need to replace the parts in the pin tooth housing, you can continue to remove the pin tooth pin and pin tooth sleeve.

4. Cleaning and inspection:

Clean all disassembled parts thoroughly with cleaning oil.

Carefully inspect each part for wear and identify parts that need to be replaced. For example, check whether there are cracks or pitting on the tooth surface of the cycloidal wheel, whether the pin hole of the pin tooth shell is worn too loose, whether the bearings and oil seals are damaged, etc.

5. Replace parts: Replace parts that are confirmed to be damaged or worn beyond the standard with new parts.

2. Key points to note when assembling

Assembly is the core link of maintenance and must be strictly carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, paying special attention to the following points:

1. The installation direction of the cycloidal wheel: This is the most critical step. The end faces of the two cycloidal wheels are usually marked with prefixes. When assembling, make sure that the markings on the two cycloid wheels are at an angle of 180 degrees to each other (that is, the markings on one piece are facing up and the other is facing down). The processing techniques of different manufacturers may be slightly different, please be sure to refer to the position recorded during disassembly.

2. Violent knocking is prohibited: When installing bearings or cycloidal wheels, it is strictly prohibited to use a hammer to directly hit the parts. A wooden hammer, copper rod or special tool should be used to gently tap in. If necessary, the bearing can be heated (about 80°C) and then hot installed.

It is recommended that all disassembled sealing rings, oil seals and paper gaskets, whether old or new, be replaced with new ones to prevent oil leakage after assembly. When installing the paper pad, make sure the joint surface is clean and free of residue.

4. Parts are replaced in pairs: Cycloidal wheels usually need to be replaced in pairs to ensure good meshing performance.

5. Lubrication: Before assembly, apply an appropriate amount of grease to key parts such as the box cavity and rolling bearings.

3. Inspection after assembly

1. Manual turning: After assembly is completed, do not refuel. Turn the input shaft by hand to check whether the transmission is smooth and whether there is any jamming or abnormal noise.

2. Add lubricating oil: After confirming that there is no fault, add a sufficient amount of lubricating oil of the appropriate brand (such as L-CKC220 or 320 extreme pressure gear oil) according to the instructions.

3. No-load test run: Start the motor for no-load test run, which should take no less than 4 hours. Observe whether the operation is smooth, whether there is abnormal vibration and noise, and whether there is leakage at each seal.

4. Load test run: After the no-load test run is normal, it can be gradually loaded to the rated load for test run, and the temperature rise (normal temperature rise should not exceed 60°C) and current are monitored to see whether it is within the rated range.
