The terms of the reducer industry are very important and very useful to buy a reducer.Let's take a look at the editor.I hope this study of these terms can help you.

Reduction ratio:

The output speed is higher than the input speed (the inner ring gear is fixed, the sun gear is active)

series:

Regarding the number of planetary gear sleeves, because one set of planetary gears cannot meet the requirements of a large transmission ratio, two or three sets are required to meet the requirements of a large transmission ratio.Due to the increase in the number of planetary gears, the length of the two-stage or three-stage reducer will increase and the efficiency will decrease.

Rated input speed:

When the driving speed and ambient temperature of the reducer are high, please reduce the input speed, which will help to increase the service life of the reducer.

output speed:

Calculate the output speed from the input speed N1 and the transmission ratio according to the following formula.

n2 = n1 / i

Transmission efficiency:

The efficiency on the sample refers to the transmission efficiency of the reducer under full load.

Rated output torque:

It refers to the torque (without wear) of the reducer under load for a long time (continuous working system).Conditions should be met for load safety with a safety factor of FS = 1; rated output shafts comply with gear and bearing standards.

Acceleration torque T2B:

It refers to the * * maximum torque that will be loaded into the output for a short period of time with a duty cycle of less than 1000 cycles per hour.When the duty cycle exceeds 1000 times per hour, the impact factor needs to be considered.T2B is the * * * maximum value in the chosen regular work system.The acceleration torque in actual use must be less than the acceleration torque, otherwise the service life of the reducer will be shortened.

Starting torque T10:

Refers to the torque of the load on the reducer to overcome the friction in the reducer;

***High Torque T2MAX:

It refers to the output torque, which the reducer can bear under static conditions or frequent starting conditions, usually refers to peak load or initial load.

Actual required torque tr2:

The required torque depends on the actual working conditions of the application, and the rated torque of the proposed reducer must be greater than this torque.

Calculated torque TC2

When selecting a reducer, the actual required torque TR2 and service factor FS can be used.TC2 = TR2 *FS≤TN is obtained according to the following formula
