Common faults and treatment methods of reducers

1. Fuel tank pressure rises
In an enclosed reducer, each pair of gears will generate heat as they mesh and wipe.According to Boyle Mallott's law, as the operation time is promoted, the temperature in the reducer box will gradually increase, while the volume in the reducer box will remain constant, so the pressure in the box will increase, and the lubricating oil in the box will Increase, and the lubricating oil in the box will splash and sprinkle the inner wall of the reduction box.Due to the strong permeability of oil, under the pressure of the box, if the seal is not tight, the oil will seep out.
2. Oil leakage caused by unreasonable reducer structure design
If the designed reducer does not have a ventilation cover, the reducer cannot achieve pressure equalization, resulting in higher and higher pressure in the box and oil leakage.
3. Over fueling
During the operation of the reducer, the oil pool is seriously stirred, and the lubricating oil splashes in the reducer. If the amount of oil is too large, a large amount of lubricating oil will accumulate in the shaft seal, joint surface, etc., causing leakage.
4. Improper maintenance process
During equipment maintenance, due to the incomplete removal of dirt on the surface of the joint, improper selection of sealants, seals, and reverse installation of seals will also cause oil leakage.
Choose a reducer produced by a common manufacturer, track and record it, and contact the manufacturer in time to maintain such problems. In order for the reducer to operate effectively, advanced technology must be used as a guarantee.Choosing a reasonable solution for a specific fault is a prerequisite for the safe and stable operation of the reducer. In the common failure of the reducer, most of the human factors can be avoided. In order to implement them we must:
1. Strengthen the training of technical personnel, improve the technical level, and ensure the accuracy of installation and commissioning.
2. Establish a lubrication maintenance system, select qualified lubricating oil, strictly implement the oil change cycle and oil injection standards, and do not exceed or shrink.
3. Strengthen inspection, enhance the sense of responsibility, find problems in time and deal with them, and prevent foreign objects from falling into the gearbox during maintenance.During normal use, the spare parts of the reducer should be purchased from the warehouse at a ratio of 5:1.At the same time, reducers with frequent faults should be planned. When the reducer fails, it can be replaced in time to ensure that the equipment can return to normal operation in the shortest possible time. Then disassemble the reducer in the maintenance unit, observe and analyze in detail, find out the fault condition, and purchase appropriate spare parts to replace easily damaged parts, such as sealing rings; for quality problems of the product itself, please contact the manufacturer to identify, Replace or repair; for different fault conditions, the above method should be used for comparison.
