Bolt specifications and Selection
Select the anchor bolt of the appropriate specifications according to the reducer model, weight and load condition. Generally speaking, the relevant technical manual or instructions of ZL reducer will clearly specify the parameters such as the diameter, length and material of the anchor bolts, and should be selected strictly in accordance with the requirements to ensure that the anchor bolts can withstand various forces generated during the operation of the reducer.
Basic preparation
The foundation surface of anchor bolt installation should be flat and clean, free of oil, debris, and loose layers. The compressive strength of the foundation should meet the installation requirements of the reducer. Usually, the foundation bearing capacity test is required to ensure that the foundation can withstand the weight of the reducer and its load.
On the basis, according to the installation dimension requirements of the reducer, accurately draw the position center line of the anchor bolt and the installation hole profile line. The diameter of the installation hole should be larger than the diameter of the anchor bolt, generally 10-20mm larger, so as to facilitate bolt installation and adjustment. The depth of the installation hole should ensure that after the anchor bolt is inserted, the bottom end has a certain gap from the bottom of the hole, usually 50-100mm, to prevent the bottom end of the bolt from contacting the bottom of the hole from affecting the installation accuracy.
Bolt installation
The anchor bolts should be installed vertically in the foundation hole, and the verticality deviation should not exceed the specified value, and generally required not to be greater than 1/1000. If the anchor bolts are inclined, the reducer will be installed in a low level, affecting its normal operation, and may even cause the gears and bearings inside the reducer to bear uneven loads and accelerate the wear of the components.
The threaded parts of anchor bolts should be free of damage or rust, and an appropriate amount of grease or anti-rust oil should be applied before installation to facilitate disassembly in the future. After the bolt is inserted into the foundation hole, it should be initially secured with nuts and washers, but do not tighten for position adjustment during the reducer installation.
Reducer installation and bolt tightening
Place the reducer smoothly on the foundation so that its installation plane fits well with the foundation surface. By adjusting the position and height of the anchor bolts, the reducer reaches a horizontal state. The horizontal deviation should meet the technical requirements of the equipment, generally within the range of 0.1 - 0.2mm/m. The level can be used to measure and adjust the reducer's base plane.
After the reducer is adjusted to the correct position and level, the nuts of the anchor bolt are diagonally tightened according to the specified torque value. The tightening torque should be determined based on the specifications and materials of the anchor bolts. You can refer to the relevant mechanical design manual or the reducer installation instructions. Generally speaking, for the common M16-M30 anchor bolts, the tightening torque is between 100-500N・m. During the tightening process, use a suitable torque wrench and tighten it in a certain order to ensure that each anchor bolt can be subjected to force evenly.
