What should I do if the input shaft bearing of the planetary reducer is damaged?

  1. Bearing hole and bearing treatment

When dismantling the active bevel gear, bearing and other parts at the input end, it was found that the inner hole of the bearing seat and the outer circle of the input shaft were strained, and they were polished with a disc abrasive belt; check the tapered roller bearing removed at the upper end of the input. If the small end of the bearing shows any signs of damage, replace the bearing immediately.

2. Treatment of the inner hole of the bearing seat

When inspecting the inner hole of the self-aligning bearing installed at the inner end of the bearing seat, it was found that the size of the previous hole was out of tolerance, and it was chrome-plated, exposing transition copper in many places.Bearing housings are made of ductile iron with chrome plating residue.Since it also supports the bearing, an anaerobic adhesive can be applied on site to prevent the outer ring of the bearing from running, further aggravating the expansion of the inner bore.
