SEW reducer uses No. 220-680 gear oil. The gear oil is mainly used to lubricate gears and bearings, prevent wear and rust, and help gears to dissipate heat.

Precautions:
1. In order to achieve a particularly low output speed, it can be realized by connecting two gear reducers.When using this transmission scheme, the power of the configurable motor must depend on the limit output torque of the reducer, and the output torque of the reducer cannot be calculated by the motor power.
2. When installing the transmission part on the SEW output shaft, it is not allowed to hit it with a hammer. Usually, use the assembly fixture and the internal thread of the shaft end to press the transmission part with bolts, otherwise it may cause damage to the internal parts of the reducer.It is best not to use rigid fixed couplings, because improper installation of such couplings will cause unnecessary external loads, resulting in early damage to the bearings.
3. The SEW reducer should be firmly installed on a stable and horizontal foundation or base, the oil in the oil drain tank should be able to be drained, and the cooling air circulation should be smooth.The foundation is unreliable, which will cause vibration and noise during operation, and cause damage to bearings and gears.
When the transmission coupling has protrusions or is driven by gears and sprockets, and the output shaft bears a large radial load, the reinforced type should be selected.
