1. Start the main motor and grind in the forward and reverse directions. During the grinding process, because the abrasion of the abrasive is quite fast, it is necessary to coat the abrasive on the gear from time to time and observe the change of the tooth surface. When the meshing contact area of the gear reaches the level along the tooth length, tooth height, and the smoothness, stop grinding and grind the gear. After finishing the grinding, carefully and thoroughly clean the abrasive on the internal parts of the reducer, such as bearings, gears, and gear shafts, with kerosene. 


2. Disassemble the main shaft coupling and the upper cover of the precision planetary reducer, so remove the lubricating oil from the reducer, wipe all gears with cotton yarn, block the climbing parts of each bearing with asbestos plate, strictly prevent abrasives and other impurities from getting in and damaging the bearing, use a polisher to smooth the high points of the convex tooth surface, use an electric file to polish the concave tooth surface, use Nanjing Shanghai carborundum sand, white lead oil and a proper amount of engine oil to mix into a paste, and use a brush to evenly smear on all gear pairs.


3. After that, use cotton yarn and dough to clean all parts and boxes, so as to prevent the residual abrasive from accelerating the gear wear and damaging the bearing in the future operation. Measure the repaired gear engagement clearance with the lead wire side, and make a record. Put on the reducer upper cover, and seal the joint surface to prevent oil leakage. Put on the main coupling, and remove the textured collar.


4. Then run in test run shall be carried out. First run in at half speed with no load, then run in at full speed with no load, and then run in at half load and full load respectively. The whole running time is about. The gear repair work of the reducer is over when no problem is found.
