It is caused by overload. The partial overload of the gear makes the specific contact stress greatly exceed the allowable contact stress of the gear raw material. Some gears cannot reach the full tooth length contact, or only touch on one side of the tooth, or even corner contact. Let's elaborate in detail.


1、 The harm of lubricating grease is caused by the unscientific lubrication of worm gear drive and the discomfort of lubricant selection. Ways to avoid gear slot corrosion of reducer:


1. Improve the installation precision of the reducer gear to ensure the contact precision of the gear.


2. Effective lubrication of gear reducer transmission system and selection of suitable lubricating fluid.


2、 Hazards of raw materials and solution standards


1. For the drive reducer of the management center, if the assembly line and installation are not well investigated, there will be unsynchronization of the left and right transmission systems, and the actual effect of load sharing is poor.


2. Whether the selection of gear raw materials is appropriate, the matching of applied loads, and the selection and matching of heat treatment hardness are all the reasons that endanger the initial crevice corrosion.


In this case, one side of the gear shaft will not bear the load, while the other side of the gear shaft will be overloaded (more than twice the design load), which is easy to cause progressive early pitting on the tooth surface.
