After we use the reducer for a period of time, we will find that its working efficiency has been reduced. The reason is that, after prolonged use, the device degrades, not only in its appearance, but also in its internal components.Without exception, dirt clings to the parts, causing them to slow down.Since the internal components are inseparable from the equipment, the efficiency of the entire equipment is correspondingly slowed down.At this time, we must carry out reasonable cleaning of equipment parts, so how do we do it?
1. Remove the upper casing of the reducer.
If the device has a semi-coupling, please remove the semi-coupling first. The fixing bolts are removed, nuts are screwed onto the bolts for safekeeping, and the upper shell is inspected for defects and cracks.Make the assembly mark and remove the bearing end shield.Check first for any missing bolts and other anomalies.Confirming they are correct, lift the upper case with the jack screws, lift and place it on the prepared backplate.Measure the clearance of each bearing using the galvanometer or pressure lead method.Several points should be measured for each set of bearings and recorded.Drain the lubricating oil in the reducer and store it in a special oil drum.
2. Come out of the drive shaft and driven shaft assembly.
Make markers on the gear web. After lifting, place the gear assembly on a dry wooden board, neatly and securely arranged to prevent bumps, and remove the bearings and gears of each shaft.
3. Use kerosene to clean bearings, housings and gears in preparation for subsequent inspections.
Many people find that when you find dirt on the internal parts of the reducer, and think that it will not affect the equipment, but it just reduces the working efficiency of the equipment. In fact, it is not. When dirt builds up, it becomes a breakdown problem., Seriously affect the operation of the equipment, and even slowly damage the equipment. Therefore, equipment and components must be cleaned regularly, not just the surface of the equipment.
