The reducer is a relatively precise machine. The casing is the casing of the reducer. The arrangement of its heat treatment process in the process line mainly depends on the purpose of heat treatment. Arrangement information of heat treatment process of reducer housing:


1. The heat treatment annealing and normalizing of the reducer housing are usually arranged before rough machining. Their main purpose is to improve the cutting performance of materials and eliminate internal stress.


2. Quenching. It is divided into overall quenching, surface quenching and carburizing quenching. It is generally arranged between finishing and semi finishing. Quenching, tempering and normalizing treatment are often carried out before surface quenching. The purpose of quenching is to make the parts obtain high hardness and wear resistance.


3. Aging treatment. General castings are usually arranged after rough machining. High precision complex castings shall be arranged once before and after semi finishing. Precision parts with poor rigidity shall be subject to aging treatment for several times during rough machining, semi finishing and finishing. The purpose of aging treatment is to eliminate the internal stress generated in blank manufacturing and machining, and stabilize the accuracy of parts.


4. Fade. Arranged before fine grinding. Quenching and tempering treatment shall be arranged before desalination to improve the hardness, wear resistance, fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of parts.


5. Quenching and tempering are generally arranged after rough machining and before semi finishing. The better comprehensive mechanical properties of the parts obtained by quenching and tempering can also refine and compact the metal structure, making preparation for reducing deformation by quenching and nitriding in the future
